NEW ENGLAND & FALL FOLIAGE
October 1 - 7, 2012
DAY 1 ..... Our first day of travel takes us to the Cape Cod area where we overnight in Hyannis. Dinner included tonight.
DAY 2 ..... After breakfast (included), we drive to the furthest tip of the land adjoining the ocean. We go to Race Point, overlooking Provincetown, also see the monument erected in memory of the first landing of the Pilgrims. Lunch in Provincetown. In Plymouth we will visit Plymouth Rock and the ship Mayflower II. Overnight in Randolph.
DAY 3 ..... Travel to Boston and enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city, including the Public Gardens, Beacon Hill, Old North Church, Old Ironsides, Quincy Market, and Faneuil Hall. Travel north through the scenic countryside with a stop in Kennebunkport. Drive along Ocean Drive for a veiw of George Bush's summer home. Dinner included tonight. Overnight in Portland ME.
DAY 4 ..... A scenic drive is in store for you as you travel along the rugged rocky coast of Maine. Travel through Acadia National Park to the top of Cadillac Mountain for a spectacular view. Shopping time in Bar Harbor. Overnight here.
DAY 5 ..... From here we travel through northen Maine to the White Mountains of New Hampshire and Franconia Notch. Here you will see the location of the 'Old Man of the Mountain's' former profile and take a ride on a tram to the top of Cannon Mountain for it's glorious view. Overnight in Littleton NH. Dinner included tonight.
DAY 6 ..... The Maple Museum is your first stop this morning. Leaving the museum, we travel to Montpelier, with a stop at the capitol building and lunch in Montpelier. Rock of Ages Visitors Center is your next stop. Enjoy the foliage as your travel to Quechee Gorge, Vermont's Little Grand Canyon . From here you travel to Hartford, CT to overnight.
DAY 7 ..... A short drive-by tour this morning takes us past the Old State House, the state capitol, and the insurance buildings. After that we turn our thoughts homeward..
Tour Includes: Transportation, 6 Nights Lodgings, 2 full breakfasts, 2 continental breakfasts, 1 lobster dinner, 2 other dinners, and all admissions and tours.
Price Per Person: $835.00 Double, $795.00 Triple/Quad, $1185.00 Single.
Deposit of $100.00 per person due at time of reservation. Payment in full 4 weeks prior to departure.
