NOVA SCOTIA & PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND

DAY 1 - Our first day will be spent traveling to Portsmouth, NH.
DAY 2 - Today we travel through New Hampshire and Maine and into New Brunswick. In St John we visit the Reversing Falls. Dinner and overnight in Moncton.
DAY 3 - We will have a short tour of Moncton before crossing the Northumberland Strait via the Confederation Bridge, we arrive in Prince Edward Island. You will have time to shop at Gateway Village and in Charlottetown. This afternoon we will visit the home of Anne of Green Gables . In the evening we enjoy one of the island's famous lobster dinners before going to our overnight lodging close Charlottetown.
DAY 4 - Today we travel via ferry from PEI to Nova Scotia. We have lunch in the Antigonish area before continuing on to Cape Breton. We cross the Canso Causeway onto Cape Breton Island enroute to Baddeck. After a visit to the Alexander Graham Bell Museum, you will have some time for shopping in Baddeck before checking into the Silver Dart Lodge for 2 nights. Dinner included tonight.
DAY 5 - Breakfast is included at the motel before departing for spectacular scenery on the Cabot Trail. Dinner included again tonight. Lunch at a pre-arranged restaurant on the trail in the Pleasant Bay Area. (included meal)
DAY 6 - Breakfast included at the motel before departing. We travel to Halifax and have a guided tour upon arrival in the city. Lodging at the Lord Nelson Hotel for 2 nights. Free time to explore tonight.
DAY 7 - Today we visit Peggy's Cove, with its beautiful scenery. You will have time to shop and have lunch. We then return to Halifax and visit the Maritime Museum. You will then have free time to explore the waterfront area if desired.
DAY 8 - We travel the Evangeline Trail through the Annapolis Valley, with at stop at Grand Pre National Park , where you will hear the tragic tale of the Acadian people. We will have our lunch (incld) at the Old Orchard Inn enroute to Annapolis Royal, where we will have a brief stop if time permits. We then continue to Digby where we board the ferry to St John NB. Lodging tonight in downtown St John.
DAY 9 - Departing New Brunswick we retrace our travels to the USA border at Calais, ME. We continue to Haverhill MA for our night lodging.
DAY 10 - Depart early for our trip home to Pennsylvania. .
